Overview

Four Winds Interactive is seeking a Software Developer to work on our Core Product Stack that is part of the overall platform. This person will be working with a group of highly talented and experienced engineers to address and enhance the products based on a set of priorities. Together with our Cloud Products, these products make an overall solution for our customers. We deliver solutions to every industry vertical with our product offerings. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design and develop software based on user stories and requirements
  • Write clean and reusable code using C#/.NET
  • Revise, update and refactor code where applicable
  • Employ best engineering practices for design and development
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality
  • Work as part of a product-based development team to deliver a complete solution in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the development, QA and product management teams

Qualifications

Required for Success:

  • BS degree in computer science or any related engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience with programming languages like C#, C/C++
  • Proficiency and experience in web technologies with HTML5/CSS3 and javascript
  • Working knowledge of DBMS preferably MS SQL server
  • Working knowledge of Windows server and client applications
  • Working knowledge of one or more frameworks like WPF, NHibernate, Entity Framework
  • Experience with build, debug and profiling tools used for .NET/C# stack
  • Highly motivated and driven by a desire to solve difficult problems, and learn new technologies

 

Helpful for Success:

  • Highly proficient in .NET/C# and windows development technologies
  • A good knowledge of application security best practices
  • Hands on experience with multi-threaded applications
  • A passion for best software development best practices
  • AWS knowledge or experience will be helpful

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
