Four Winds Interactive is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work on the next generation of its award-winning digital signage platform. This role will work alongside highly talented Software Developers, Architects, and QA Engineers to enhance FWI Core, comprised of the platform’s application builder, its various “players” (software for rendering a visual application), data integrations, and more. This work on FWI Core, when combined with the efforts of the FWI Cloud teams, will strengthen the backbone of Four Winds’ entire solution and deliver powerful, compelling solutions to major companies in every industry.

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design and develop software based on user stories and requirements
• Write clean and reusable code using C#/.NET
• Revise, update and refactor code where applicable
• Employ best engineering practices for design and development
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality
• Work as part of a product-based development team to deliver a complete solution in a timely manner
• Ability to effectively communicate with the development, QA and product management teams

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

• BS degree in computer science or any related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages like C#, C/C++
• Proficiency and experience in web technologies with HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of DBMS preferably MS SQL server
• Working knowledge of Windows server and client applications
• Working knowledge of one or more frameworks like WPF, NHibernate, Entity Framework
• Experience with build, debug and profiling tools used for .NET/C# stack
• Highly motivated and driven by a desire to solve difficult problems, and learn new technologies

Helpful for Success:

• Highly proficient in .NET/C# and windows development technologies
• A good knowledge of Application security best practices
• Hands on experience with multi-threaded applications
• A passion for best software development best practices
• AWS knowledge or experience will be helpful
