THE OPPORTUNITY

Xactly's worldwide enterprise SaaS delivery team and product portfolio is growing rapidly and we are looking for a software architect to join our stellar engineering team.

As a cloud architect at Xactly, you'll be an essential member of fast moving agile development teams building the latest Xactly products. You will be responsible for shaping the future of Xactly products utilizing public cloud services in order to perform and scale to hundreds of thousands of users. You will work across multiple products and teams while keeping consistent patterns and designs. You must be strongly committed to good engineering discipline and process. The ideal candidate will share our passion for SaaS products and maximizing customer value. You must strongly believe that teams can achieve more than individuals, that the Agile process is a constantly evolving process and in continuous integration and deployment. Working in a global dynamic agile environment, you will collaborate daily with managers, product managers, software engineers, architects, QE engineers, data center operations engineers, support managers, directors and executives to deliver complex SaaS software programs.

The Architect will be working cross functionally with Dev and QE Managment as well as presenting architectural recommendations to the Chief Architect and the CTO for review. 

THE SKILL SET

• 10+ years of experience in web application development and architecture.
• Extensive experience in public cloud architecture such as AWS, GCP and/or Azure
• Extensive experience using serverless architectures
• Experience in an agile (Scrum) development process
• Masters or Bachelors degree in computer science or other relevant technical degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working closely with product owners, software developers, quality engineers and other architects to set the direction of the technical roadmap
• Solid understanding and hands on experience with continuous integration and deployment
• Eager to do technical research, including comparing different tools & libraries, performance & load testing, software and database optimizations

• Make recommendations and suggestions for architecture improvements
• Communicate metrics and benefits around architectural changes

• Work with teams to implement architectural changesContribute new ideas to the product and development
• Integrate with teams, helping manage and monitor the continuous integration and deployment for the products
