RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Lead Software Engineer in the Sitecore practice, you will be instrumental in establishing the initial project solution for new digital applications and leading back-end engineers to build out the application at scale
  • As part of an agile delivery team, you will work with solution architecture, digital leads, front-end engineers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements and contribute to defining the work items
  • Initially you will be responsible to develop a marketing website with integrations to enterprise systems and implementation of personalization features. Later, you may get access to other types of content management or commerce projects based on preference and market demands
  • Emerging headless applications require increasing knowledge of front-end frameworks particularly ReactJS and NextJS. While front-end engineers will perform most of this effort, you will be responsible to navigate the hand-off of front-end to back-end, and ensure this operation is high quality
  • As a client-facing consulting role you will also be responsible for a variety of additional tasks based on the current phase of the project: backlog refinement, sprint demos, and UAT support
  • Project demands may vary between managing other engineers and hands-on coding, the Lead Software Engineer is able to do both as required


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical related field with relevant experience
  • Sitecore Certified v9.3+ (v10 preferred)
  • Experience building at least one site on Sitecore JSS / Headless services
  • 6+ years' related industry experience
  • C# and ASP.NET background with strong command of Object-Oriented principles
  • Knowledge of at least 1 JavaScript framework
  • Experience integrating applications using REST with an authentication mechanism
  • Experience with Sitecore Personalize & CDP or the Sitecore XP Marketing Control Panel
  • Experience with ReactJS or NextJS
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience with Azure Compute Services and related certification
  • Experience with local Sitecore XM/XP development on Docker for Windows
  • Experience with code branching patterns
  • Sitecore MVP status or demonstrated pursuit of community activity
  • Cursory knowledge of Experience Edge, GraphQL, and Vercel
