Arryved Inc. is a Boulder-based company specializing in Point-of-Service for craft breweries, restaurants and other craft destinations. We operate in hundreds of establishments across the country, with many of the top craft establishments using our platform. You've probably seen our system in use at craft destinations nationwide—or maybe you've used the Arryved mobile app yourself.  At our core we use software to build excellent customer experiences on both sides of the counter, from being the central hub of the restaurant/taproom and back-of-house, to online sales and mobile guest experiences. About You

Are you one of the best at what you do? Capable of being a sysadmin, DBA, and software engineer, all in one? We want someone as passionate as we are about building useful, scalable, and measurable software, but equally as passionate about achieving five-9s on software that people use daily. We are looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer. 

Must Haves:

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (required)

• 1+ years programming in Java in a working environment (educational time not included)

• Unit, integration, and functional testing experience

• Solid understanding of common design patterns

• Broad database technology knowledge (SQL, NoSQL, Memcache, Multi-Master, BigTable)

• 24x7 on-call and/or System Admin experience (monitoring qps/latency, alerting, operations, etc)

• Technical self-starter and self-directed

Nice-To-Haves:

• Accustomed to highly scalable, high volume, low latency, transactional systems

• Payments programming experience a huge plus

• Mobile development is a huge plus, especially with Flutter

• Hands on running distributed Linux systems

• Container management

• In depth networking knowledge (routing, ip tracing, traffic management)

• Enjoys seeing people use what you have developed

Our Tech Stack:

• Backend is Java

• Web Frontend is Typescript, React 16.8+, Redux, Material UI, Webpack

• Mobile Frontend is Flutter (Android and iOS) and Java (Android)

• Source control is Git

• Environment is Google Cloud running Ubuntu

The job will entail:

• Working in a very team-oriented development environment

• Being physically located in the general Boulder, CO (Denver) metro area

• Opportunities to deep dive into Java, mobile development, networking, and large cloud environments

• Work with other former large company SREs

• Strong automated testing to ensure code backwards compatibility and quality

• General web development on our internal- and external-facing portals

• Contributing to the establish of ecommerce widgets for use internally and externally

COVID-19:

Arryved is currently working remotely with plans to get back together in our Boulder offices sometime in 2021.

Based on actual qualifications and experience:

Site Reliability Engineer I - 100 to 150K.

Site Reliability Engineer II - 125 to 175K.
