As a member of the RingCentral Engineering team, you’ll solve complex, business-critical problems with elegant, user-friendly solutions that perform at massive scale. Responsibilities:
Maintain the stability and integrity of various Lab, Stage, and Production environments.
Communicate and collaborate with other teams (Operations, QA, Development).
Continuously improve your knowledge level of our production system.
Participate in software releases and associated deployments.
Take part in automation design and improvements.
Participate in on call rotation with other Engineers.
You will get experience in:

Software development lifecycle, where DevOps team plays a meaningful role.
Working with SQL, bash, python or other scripting languages.
Exposure maintaining telephony protocols like SIP, RTP and WebRTC.
Qualifications:
Experience maintaining AWS hosted Production environments (EC2,EKS,RDS,VPC,EBS,Redshift,DynamoDB,S3)
Common knowledge of OSI model or TCP/IP stack protocols.
Understanding of the Linux operating system with experience troubleshooting issues (RHEL/CentOS preferred)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
Experience administrating relational database engines and NoSQL. Ability to write basic queries for reviewing data.
Experience automating solutions using Shell, Ruby, Python or other similar technologies.
Nice-To-Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and equivalent practical experience
