How you'll make an impact:
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Xero you’ll develop and maintain tools and frameworks to improve the resilience engineering culture at Xero. As an Engineer in this team you will be responsible for developing and improving our incident response tooling. You’ll also conduct and improve workshops and training on the topics of incident response and analysis. In your work you’ll help teams deliver a great customer experience through a better understanding of the behaviour and operation of their systems.
What you'll do in the team:
- Develop and maintain tools for incident response and chaos engineering.
- Work with technology like .NET, React, Kubernetes, AWS and more.
- Maintain our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Engage with other Xero’s teams to facilitate and coordinate incident reviews and analysis.
- Take part in our on-call rotation to help facilitate speedy incident resolution.
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages like C#, JavaScript, Java, Python etc.

- The ability to engage, influence and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
