As a Site Reliability Engineer at BetterCloud, you will be working to place our SaaSOps platform at the heart of every modern enterprise. You will work on automating our release pipelines, driving improvements in our release process, and building tools to improve visibility and efficiency in release delivery.
About You
- Strong understanding of development systems, especially Git and Jenkins
- Working knowledge of build tools like Maven and Gradle
- Experience in container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Proficient in a major programming language (e.g. Python, Java)
- Experience in Linux system administration
- Experience with infrastructure automation with Chef and Terraform
What You'll Do
As a Release Engineer, you will be expected to:
- Effectively operate tools for code deployments, version control, and automated testing.
- Ensure reliability and efficiency of all infrastructure related to testing, packaging, and deployments
- Solve problems and think critically on a daily basis, often with time pressure
- Communicate clearly, in writing and via remote meetings, highly technical information in terms that can be understood by those in various departments and roles.
- Be team oriented yet autonomous
- Able to take direction as well as initiative

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents BetterCloud’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $175,000
