ServiceNow Developer at Zoom Video Communications
Zoom’s ServiceNow Platform team is looking for a ServiceNow Developer dedicated to the security team who will support our fast-growing business and platform. This position will be responsible for engaging with the security team on customizations, workflow build-outs, administration, development, design and support. The candidate will be required to use best practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the clients utilizing the ServiceNow platform, while adhering to the configure vs customize governance.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with the security teams across multiple domains. Zoom is a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment, and scaling quickly. This position requires a highly driven self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude who will take ownership of projects to deliver measurable value to key business stakeholders.
Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, automation and custom application development
Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes. (Automated Test Framework experience a plus)
Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
Answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions.
Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with upgrades, clones, working with ServiceNow support, Testing, meeting with customers to gather requirements, refining customer requirements, using best practices to implement solutions without customization.
Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
BS degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development, configuration and administration.
Knowledge and experience in state and federal information security laws is a plus
Certification or proven working knowledges in project management, service management, process improvement, and ITIL
Previous working experience in a SaaS company is preferred
Must have experience/certification with the following ServiceNow Modules/Functions:
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Security Operations (SecOps)
Vendor Risk Management (VRM)
