The ServiceNow Admin/Developer is the go to person for the platform. They will perform analysis of problems while working toward solutions to technical issues; deploy new releases and/ or enhancements; maintain and support the platform's operational functions; and perform system testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day support and maintenance of the Service Now platform, work with the Enterprise Applications team to develop solutions in ServiceNow and coordinate support and development efforts.
- Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
- Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
- Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript and MYSQL
- Solution and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
- Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow
- Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow
- Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow modules: Discovery, Orchestration, ServiceWatch, PPM, CMDB, etc.
- Custom Application Development
- Advise teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management, etc
- Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production.
- Experience working in and managing multiple update sets and coordinating their release
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
- Must have experience in multiple ServiceNow implementations and have developed custom applications
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, PERL scripting, etc.)
- Must have ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
- Preferred to have ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification.
