CommercialTribe is seeking an experienced JavaScript Engineer to contribute to the development of our Web, Mobile, and Backend applications. You will be a high-performing contributor to the team responsible for delivering and maintaining high-scale and high-performance applications and APIs. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, enjoys learning and applying new technologies, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company.

What You'll Do

• ​Work with some of the best development talent in Denver​.
• Join a high-performing development team that deploys code multiple times per day.
• Work with the latest technologies, including React, React Native, GraphQL, Relay Modern, Kubernetes, Docker, Node, TypeScript, Flow, and more.
• Collaborate with the product team, UX team, and other developers to produce compelling and delightful user experiences.
• Design, implement and own full-stack features to support our product lines.
• Provide mentorship, leadership and guidance on design and technology decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
• Advocate and promote coding, testing, and Agile best practices.

About You

• You have strong JavaScript programming skills.
• You have 2+ years of front-end development
• You have experience with modern web frameworks.
• You have experience writing automated tests.
• You enjoy developing rich front-end applications.
• You are a fast learner with strong software development skills, enabling you to meet deadlines while producing scalable and maintainable systems.
• You love writing code, reviewing code, deprecating code, and mentoring other engineers.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You are a great teammate with strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with our technology stack;
• Experience contributing to Open Source;
• Being product-focused with an eye for UI/UX; and
• An understanding of design systems.
