About the Team VIZIO advertising software solutions is looking for a creative Senior Frontend Engineer to help deliver our strategic initiatives in our ad tech team. We look for people who can effectively partner with Program & Product Management to deliver easy, effective, and enjoyable software. The position can be held in one of several offices (San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Irvine, New York), and is responsible for system design, architecture, and infrastructure decisions for our advertising technology stack. We are a close-knit team, focusing on challenging problems that make a difference to our business. We concentrate on high-impact, high-value development, and in this role, you'll be lynchpin in delivering the software that helps us grow. What You Will Do

• Be part of a dynamic team that builds a scalable, future proof offering in a high growth area of VIZIO
• Collaborate with other engineers (back end, UI/UX) to deliver critical capabilities driving growth
• Help establish best practices for front-end development
• Work with Product, Program, DevOps to make sure your projects meet business, scaling, compliance, and security needs
• Improve application code quality through unit tests, test automation, and code reviews
• Be accountable to delivery

About You

• You have a BA / MA in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar / relevant field
• 5-7 years of experience as a Front-end Engineer
• You have developed user interfaces with the latest front end technologies
• Passionate about rich user experiences
• You're comfortable with platforms like Angular, Vue, React, and also proficient in writing CSS, HTML, and cross-browser compatible code
• You've worked in Agile (or related) environments and product development lifecycles
• Clear and effective communication skills, and have a track record of delivering high quality user interfaces
• You take ownership for the quality of your software and have experience with test automation
• You are a hard-working team player, with a "no task is too small" attitude
• Appreciates the challenge of translating highly technical product offerings and concepts for a wide variety of audiences, elucidating the "why", not just the "what"
• Have a proven ability to self-motivate and be independent, as well as capable of operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Preferred experience in advertising technology offerings at a well-known organization (e.g., DSP, SSP, Ad Servers)
