POSITION TITLE: Senior System Developer (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for designing, documenting and building new solutions for RingCentral’s enterprise SaaS platform ecosystem, specifically using NetSuite ERP and Workday development tools.

JOB DUTIES: Designing and developing new systems to meet the growing needs of the business and customer; Enhancing or overhauling existing systems to ensure continued success over time; Helping assess impact and risk to business on various technology decisions; Helping create code quality, code versioning and testing standards and ensuring they are being met by engineering teams; Interviewing cross-functional teams to elicit business requirements; Acting as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams; Analyzing existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data; Developing and maintaining documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems; Partnering with business, internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions; Excellent negotiation, influencing, collaboration, communication and presentation skills; Participating in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution); Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding; Distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs to align with macro vision and strategy; Mentoring and providing guidance to more junior Developers to help bring them up to speed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with Netsuite System Administration, Order Management, Invoicing, SuiteScripting, SuiteFlow, SuiteCloud, XSLT, XTT, XML, Java, Workday, MySQL, Oracle Database, SQL, REST, SOAP and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /

QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
