SUMMARY

As part of the IT Team, this individual will contribute to the planning, support, and administration of all of Wunderman Data Product’s computing, LAN/WAN networking, and communication equipment.  The team builds, deploys and administers Linux and Windows servers in a globally distributed physical and virtual environment.  As part of a team, this position will be responsible for providing second level support on all end user IT equipment and support/management of associated applications and systems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Linux, Windows, Network and Storage administration and maintenance.
  • User account management in a cross platform environment.
  • Automation of repetitive administration tasks.
  • Assisting with maintaining system and network documentation.
  • System configuration, file system maintenance and backup, creation of automation scripts to maintain uniformity of system configuration.
  • Working with all IT team members to assess and solve IT issues both local and remote.
  • LAN/WAN related modifications and changes, including hardware and software related issues and ongoing administration of the corporate network.
  • Some after-hours work required, including participation in the department on call rotation.
  • Occasional travel to remote locations may be required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 8+ years of relevant IT experience in a Linux/Windows mixed computing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux in a networked environment.
  • Responsible for installation and support of Linux Servers, Windows Server 2012/2016.
  • Strong shell scripting skills.
  • Ability to thrive and excel in a fast paced, rapid growth environment.
  • Experience with routers/switches/firewalls/VPN a plus.
  • Experience with Office365.
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or related technical training preferred.
  • Experience with F5 LTM and GTM’s a plus.
  • Any relevant industry certifications a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and other Cloud services.
