The Mission Control System (MCS) Cloud Migration & Infrastructure Specialist will develop the infrastructure and build environment for the MCS software migration to cloud-compute and cloud-storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Setup and support an evolving cloud infrastructure for a mixed cloud compute and storage (public, FedRAMP and private), test and operational environment.
• Support MCS development teams and System Integration Test team with investigation, troubleshooting and technical roadmap for the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture, Security and Infrastructure groups to ensure a consistent cloud infrastructure (including CI/CD) environment.
• Collaborate with the OASIS/RAPID Operations teams to ensure the cloud environment can be efficiently and effectively supported.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in setup and support of a cloud compute and store environment and CI/CD tools.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in programming (esp. Ruby/Python, C/C++) including frameworks such as Sinatra and Django.
• Expert with Unix/Linux.
• Experience developing Web Services (e.g. REST).
• Experience with Data storage technologies (e.g. Postgres, S3).
• Experience in design, coding and troubleshooting complex software systems on physical hosts, virtual hosts and cloud computing.
• BS Computer Science or equivalent.
• Currently hold or able to obtain an US security clearance.
• Experience with a range of cloud and build/deploy technologies; AWS, Cloud Foundry, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes
