Senior Software Engineer at FIS
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Denver, CO to plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. Design developer portal to host documentation for all North American merchant boarding and servicing of FIS APIs. Work cross-functionally to address issues and emerging needs in software systems. Test software in preparation for deployment. Work on projects from enhancements, new features and bug fixes to new and replacement products. Build the capability of self-service to generate SAML and OAuth tokens to monolith and new onboarding APIs for merchant to request tokens. Work on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Manage Apigee proxies and gateway. Provide production and customer support for a product called Launchpad (merchant integration and on-boarding APIs). Manage API security and license management for enterprise APIs. Build APIs to integrate to FIS UK merchant integrations. Provide governance of swagger spec buildout and REST API development. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to issues. Mentor interns and co-ops. Communicate with enterprise teams both on US and UK teams to provide design and support for API development. Improve efficiency by utilizing AWS, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Maven, Java, NodeJS, LDAP and ForgeRock, Swagger, DB2 and SQL.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with WebSphere, Tomcat, Jenkins, DB2, SQL and Mongo; utilizing Java, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, and Maven; performing lifecycle management and API development; performing unit and integration testing; working in agile environment; working on CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins and Maven; performing design and building web services, web applications and REST APIs; performing database integration and scripting. 10% of travel to FIS Cincinnati, OH location. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
