Senior Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an Software Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for growing and developing the current AimLock application. This role will help define the way in which our team drives towards long term success via short term results. Responsibilities:
· Utilize development languages: C++, C
· Perform software development, programming, and documentation
· Carry out testing, verification, and validation of applications
· Knowledgeable of hardware design practices
· Architecture definition
· Participate in full product life cycle of AimLock systems
· Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
Required Skills:
· Demonstrate knowledge in C++/C, software architecture, and documentation
· Familiar with Agile methodology
· Strategically innovate, implement, and accomplish goals in a startup environment
· Embody company values during design, implementation, and maintenance of applications
· Experience with defining and writing unit level tests
· 10 years experience minimum
· Ability to pass and maintain a clear background check and drug screening
· Must currently possess or be able to obtain US security clearance
Desired Skills:
· Experience with real-time embedded applications
· Familiarity with automation and/or prototyping in a fast-paced work environment
· Knowledge of image processing tools and/or techniques
· Strong understanding of embedded and controlled systems
· Master’s degree in computer science or similar preferred, or similar degree
· Software lead and/or architect experience highly desired
· Prior experience with DoD, DoJ, FBI, Law Enforcement, Military or defense contracting industry
