Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with significant experience in Go to join our team to contribute to our mission of redefining the healthcare experience for patients and providers. You’ll be responsible for delivering high value applications and services while improving yourself and those around you each day. You will have the opportunity to impact millions of lives by advancing our platform enabling barrier-free access to healthcare.

This position can sit remote anywhere in the U.S., with the flexibility to work from our Denver HQ as you’d like. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas at this time.

What You’ll Accomplish:

  • You will build performant APIs, platform applications, services and tools
  • You will collaborate with feature and service oriented teams while consistently and confidently delivering code artifacts that advance our platform
  • You will contribute to our evolving development and testing standards and best practices
  • You will maintain your reputation for reliably delivering well considered, well tested and performant code product(s

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience developing large scale web applications
  • Significant experience using Golang in a production environment
  • Experience with modern libraries and tooling
  • Significant experience building resilient platform services and APIs for public consumption
  • Significant Microservices architecture and development skills
  • Proficiency with modern developer workflows and tools (Git/Github, CI, etc)
  • Solid understanding of foundational software design patterns
  • Your philosophy aligns with Agile methodologies and processes
  • Significant experience giving and receiving feedback in code reviews
  • Confidence pairing with other engineers
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, RDS, ElastiCache for Redis, Elasticsearch, S3, IAM, KMS, and networking components such as VPC, transit gateway, routes and security groups
  • Experience with platform observability and telemetry best practices
  • Proficiency with Ruby or Python
  • Experience integrating security solutions using infrastructure-as-code, you understand the power for testable security infrastructure and code.
  • Confidence pairing with other engineers of all levels
  • Experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Significant experience collaborating with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with message queues, event-driven or streaming architectures

If you are looking to make a lasting impact where your voice matters, consider joining our team.The base salary range for this position is $120,000-160,000/year. Actual pay may vary based on job-related skills, qualifications, certifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to equity incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

We have a distributed workforce across the United States. For days you would like to work out of the office, our HQ is located in Denver's urban RiNo district within walking distance to many great restaurants, breweries and an RTD station.
