As part of our growing team, we are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high-performance frontend components and applications. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, enjoys learning and applying new technologies, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company.

What You'll Do

  • ​Work with some of the best development talent in Denver​.
  • Release code multiple times per day.
  • Work with the latest technologies, including React, React Native, GraphQL, Relay Modern, Storybook, Cypress, Flow, Docker, Node, and more.
  • Collaborate with the product team, UX team, and other developers to produce compelling and delightful user experiences.
  • Maintain a reusable component library for other developers to consume.
  • Provide mentorship, leadership and guidance on design and technology decisions.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
  • Advocate and promote coding, testing, and Agile best practices.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of frontend development.
  • You have experience with React.
  • You have experience writing automated tests.
  • You enjoy breaking large UI down into smaller components.
  • You are a fast learner with strong software development skills, enabling you to meet deadlines while producing scalable and maintainable systems.
  • You love writing code, reviewing code, and mentoring other engineers.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are a great teammate with strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Strong JavaScript programming skills.
  • Experience and interest in our technology stack.
  • Experience contributing to Open Source.
  • Experience with agile and extreme programming (XP).
  • Being product-focused with an eye for UI/UX.
  • An understanding of Material UI.
  • Startup experience.
