What you'll do
Billtrust is seeking a Senior Software Developer (C#) to join our Agile Quick Response team tasked with building and supporting features for our Software-as-a-Service CashApp platform. You will leverage skills in software design, coding and deployment as a member of a fast-paced Kanban team, and collaborate cross-functionally to determine feasibility of design, ensure code quality and deliver releases. You will also take responsibility of helping evolve our development organization in areas such as unit testing, scalable design, continuous integration (CI), and software performance.
- Architect, code, implement and support high-quality software solutions
- Provide code review and support to junior members of the development team
- Work with Kanban team to deliver 100% of our weekly releases on-time
- Work with APM to isolate and diagnose production issues
- Collaborate with our stakeholders to ensure we deliver timely, flexible and accurate software solutions
- Build highly-scalable software solutions that will improve overall processing performance
What you'll bring to the team
- Ability to build and support code written in C#, Microsoft .NET, Nancy, SQL Server, HTML5, Angular/Javascript, Sass/CSS and other web technologies
- Demonstrated experience within an Agile/Kanban process
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of testable application design principles, utilizing NUnit or similar
- Experience building behavior-driven development tests for desired business behavior
- Well-honed skills in source control management (Git)
- Experience scaling applications with Azure Containers is strongly desired
- Ability to adapt to changing stakeholder priorities
- Ability to communicate with our stakeholders in a consultative fashion and work well with a distributed team
- Experience in banking or electronic payments nice-to-have
- Experience using APM tools (AppDynamics, New Relic etc.) to diagnose system issues nice-to-have
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), along with a firm understanding of data structures and scalable software design
