About:
The Senior Robotics Software Engineer will report to the Director of Research & Development and lead the development of AMP's sorting robots, vision systems, and future products.
This position requires familiarity with robotic systems, the ability to write high-performance and high-reliability software, and the ability to rapidly iterate solutions. An ideal candidate will be responsible for software and robotics system design that fundamentally improves our approach to recycling.
Responsibilities:
Architect the design of our software systems
Develop internal best practices to drive software quality and feature velocity
Lead large scale projects and coordinate development across multiple teams
Create custom solutions to help manage, maintain, and scale our expanding fleet of deployed systems
Integrate software systems across our machine learning, cloud, and embedded systems
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
Strong experience leading development efforts
Experience with ROS development
Strong proficiency in C++
Familiarity with working in a Linux environment
Preferred:
Graduate degree (Master's / Doctorate) in a related field
5+ years of industry experience
Experience with Robotics: Dynamics, Kinematics, Data Filtering, Planning
A portfolio of past work and ability to show and explain projects
This is a full-time on-site position in Louisville, Colorado.
