What You'll Do: 

As the Test Automation Engineer, you will design, code, and maintain automated tests, automated frameworks, and automated infrastructure. You will need to be collaborative with the Agile teams, working closely with Dev, DevOps, and Product to automate testing, optimize tooling, ensure test suites are robust & reusable, and improve overall quality of what we deliver. Should possess a "no manual test execution" mindset and has production experience in CI/CD, microservices and/or public cloud. 

  • Work with an experienced team leveraging Agile techniques to deliver high-quality releases
  • Create test plans, test data, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure quality for web and client server applications
  • Design and Implement tools and techniques supporting robust automation for web applications and utilize automation for deployment and running test suites
  • Design and implement software for quality assurance of Machine Learning data sets and models
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to understand data and machine learning model
  • Apply statistical concepts to validate and QA data sets and models
  • Monitor automation processes and follow up on results/defects
  • Write and/or modify SQL queries to perform database validations
  • Partner with DevOps and other teams to mature our Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines
  • Produce documentation for automated frameworks and cross-train others

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • An attitude where no technical challenge is too great
  • Ability to create and design test automation and test automation infrastructure
  • 5+ years in a software Development, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Automation Engineer capacity ideal
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to leverage some of the following languages, tools, and technologies: C#, JavaScript/Angular, Python, Protractor, Selenium, Postman, Newman, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform.
  • Proven ability to write automated test scripts to verify data structures, data formats, and data values
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute SQL queries
  • DevOps mindset with an understanding of CI/CD practices and tooling
  • Proven ability to maintain code repositories with Git/GitLab or similar
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms such as Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) strongly preferred
  • Experience with some of the following nice-to-have: Appium, Snowflake, AppDynamics, JMeter, Blazemeter
  • Experience in a SaaS, B2B, software or product-centric business preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar (or equivalent experience)

Location

Our Denver office is located just east of downtown, several miles from Denver Intl Airport. Our Boulder office is on Arapahoe Ave by Boulder Creek.
