Honey's Quality Assurance team is in charge of ensuring the highest quality release of our products. As a Senior Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer, Android, you will work closely with Developers and Product Managers to create and execute automatable Test Plans and Test Suites for various Honey Mobile Products. In addition to mentoring junior QA members, you will also be expected to contribute to Appium automation tests. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technology platforms. About You:

• You like to break other people’s code and then help them debug
• You use a modern version-control system for your source code repository (Git, Mercurial, GitHub, BitBucket)
• You have experience testing Android and iOS mobile apps
• You have experience with device compatibility testing
• You have experience with defect tracking tools and writing concise defect reports
• You know the difference between BDD and TDD and have experience with at least one
• You are comfortable creating test suites with minimal documentation
• You have a working knowledge of Agile Development Practices and Scrum methodologies
• You enjoy helping to improve quality assurance standards, techniques, and procedures
• You set high standards and hold others to those standards

In this role, you’ll:

• Work within a mission team (a cross-functional team focused on a specific, well-defined mission) and own the testing for backend components related to your product
• Architect, design, write, review, and test code in a collaborative environment
• Leveraging your peers as multipliers for your skills to create excellent products and services for Honey’s 10+ million users
• Create easily automated test suites with minimal documentation provided
• Contributing Appium automation tests to automation framework
• Building tools to support automated testing of your product
• Continuously identify risks and provide solutions to improve product quality
