AbsenceSoft is looking for an experienced senior QA engineer, specializing in Quality Assurance and automation to work within our product and client service scrum teams in order to solve complex and challenging business and technical problems, driving total quality management across product engineering, providing process guidance, best practices and improvements, while mentoring junior and mid-level team members.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Quality Assurance activities including planning, estimating, execution and delivery   
• Collaborate with engineering, product owners, analysts and customers to clearly understand product needs and systemic problems
• Create and maintain QA Automation Frameworks, Test Managements suite, and testing plans
• Take part in daily stand-up meetings, Scrum or other daily activities
• Assist with advanced troubleshooting and problem solving
• Mentor other development staff and junior resources

Qualifications And Skills

• SaaS for Market quality assurance experience
• Min 6 years’ experience in QA testing and Automation
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• Selenium or other modern frameworks 
• Plan, Communicate and track test results, provide status updates, consider risks, and prioritize testing appropriately
• Experience with front end technologies and Object-oriented development 
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies such as Functional, Automation, Regression, Integration and Performance
• Solid understanding on System Integration testing of RESTful services
• Experience in QA data management, and ability to query both RBDMS and NoSQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines and automation, Jenkins, Terraform, Git
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Docs
• Ability to write clear defect reports, test cases, and comments related to test execution
• Entrepreneurial in thinking, outlook, and creative problem-solving
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask on parallel projects and efforts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
