Job Description:

We have an immediate need for a talented Senior Mobile App Developer with deep experience in the mobile platform software development space as well as specific application development experience with Over The Top (OTT) video streaming applications. The successful candidate will be able to both “write the code” and “direct others” in the execution of this role. Intelivideo expects to have both local development and off/near-shore augmentation. In addition, the successful candidate will be a key leader in the platform architecture and design supporting the mobile UX/UI. Finally, the successful candidate will need to be a great communicator – with colleagues, customers, users – able to articulate technology trade-offs and guide Intelivideo’s mobile product roadmap. That is, this person is expected to be a “leader” in addition to having terrific software skills and product delivery velocity.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

1. Competencies:
   • Lead App development team utilizing your “Mobile First” approach.
   • Contribute to UX/UI design, write elegant code in iOS, AOSP/GSM, TVOS, Android TV, and Roku OS platforms.
   • Ability to assess development plans, complexity, and cost.
   • Expert in iterative development, operations and deployment methodologies in a CI/CD environment.
   • Assists in the roll-out of software releases through certification and production deployment.
   • Expertise in Apple, Google, and Roku (two or all three platforms is a plus).
      
2. Experience
    
   • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Experience Equivalent - Software Engineering, Computer Science.
   • Have commercially deployed application(s) in the market.
   • Prefer 5+ years of professional experience in creating native mobile applications for iOS, AOSP/GSM, and/or Roku across all device sizes and multiple OS versions using native tools.
   • Experience with the software development life-cycle: Agile software methodology, data and test driven design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance.
   • Expertise in at least two of: Swift, Java (Android), BrightScript, Kotlin
   • Experience with mobile platform test automation tools (e.g., Appium, Calabash, etc.)
   • Experience with performant data loading as well as video streaming operations and playback.
