Senior Manager, Salesforce Development

Inspirato is seeking a Senior Manager, Salesforce Development to join our team. This integral team leader will be a leader for our Salesforce development team and will provide coaching and mentoring around demo of delivery, proof of concepts, technical feasibility, and subject matter expertise of the platform. The candidate should have experience with managing a team as well as Salesforce development. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and be ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing hands on leadership to the Salesforce development team
• Mentoring and growing the team’s technical skills
• Provide technical direction and define best practices and processes
• Work with Product Development and stakeholders to define application solutions
• Participate in architecture and coding of the application (This is a hands on role)!
• Ownership of all technical aspects of a Salesforce.com implementation, including custom code, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, and AppExchange products
• Responsible for development, configuration and quality assurance in the Salesforce.com platform including Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, custom objects, and SOQL
• A passion for TDD and ensuring test coverage and validation of functionality is implemented and can be verified on an ongoing basis with future releases
• Experience in integrating enterprise applications with other API enabled Business Systems (i.e., Salesforce.com, Data.com, Zuora, DocuSign, Incent, Pardot & ExactTarget, or other marketing solutions)
• Salesforce.com development including custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Force.com, Triggers, Migration Tools, Lightning Components, and Web Services
• Strong analytical skills and software engineering experience
• Experience with enterprise integration to Salesforce.com
• Strong self-starter and results-driven individual
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or technical field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of management or technical leadership
• Salesforce Platform Developer Certification listed
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, build processes, and operations
• Java (7 or 8)
• Spring/MVC
• JavaScript-React/Angular
• RESTful services
• OOA/OOD
• Experience working in an Agile Development space
