Fanatics needs you! You are an experienced technical leader who can plan and drive the QA process and also mentor team members at a hands-on level while guiding QA projects and using both existing expertise and newly gained knowledge to help implement QA and testing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the team and being the technology leader
- Automation framework design, development and execution
- Build a test automation framework to increase reusability and maintainability of regression tests
- Manage automation projects and timelines and day to day tasks for the automation engineers
- Continuous testing/integration with CI tools
- Provide subject matter expertise for test automation best practices and automation tools relevant to our business environment
- Participate in Load and Performance testing efforts as needed
- Evangelize you and your team’s work
- A passion for simplified design
- Build strong working relationships with direct reports, clients, peers and management
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA engineering experience
- 2+ years of QA lead or management experience, and/or responsibility for infrastructure/process decisions
- Experience growing and developing a team of QA and Automation engineers
- Experience in an agile development environment managing QA engineers
- Experience with test plan creation and execution
- Experience working with Product Management, Engineering and DevOps to drive quality improvements
- Recent hands on experience with scripting and testing tools
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining test environments
- Experience with Git or similar version control system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
