Senior Leader, Strategy and Planning - Solutions Engineering
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the organization. Identifies strategic priorities for the organization and owns implementation in partnership with cross functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, product management, and engineering).
Responsible for delivering cross functional alignment, accountability, collaboration capabilities, and will lead a broad range of strategic operational initiatives
This leadership position is responsible for creating the departmental vision, culture, and performance standards as well as overseeing its adoption in all levels of the department.
Responsible for the definition of structure and execution of strategic initiatives through the development of work plans, defining analysis requirements, and development of actionable recommendations.
Leads Sales strategic planning to ensure the business can meet present and future goals
Determine the effectiveness of current strategies and identify areas for strategic improvement.
Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives
Creates and monitor metrics for process improvement and increased systems engineering organizational effectiveness
Drive change and performance management to facilitate high performing teams worldwide.
Establish operating cadence for SE organization (QBRs, Fiscal Year Planning, Breakthrough strategies, priorities, etc.)
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 10+ plus years of direct relevant experience, advanced degree strongly preferred
Demonstrated success in a dynamic, frequently changing, and geographically dispersed environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and "Customer Focus" with ability to positively interact with Executives, business managers, employees and partners
Expert knowledge of Sales processes modeling and analysis as well as Solution Engineering's role in those processes
Proven business acumen, excellent organizational, planning and project management skills
Change agent that will amplify the right culture, ethics and motivate talent
Clear communication of sensitive strategic information to business-wide leadership, executives, and stakeholders will be pivotal in determining how effectively these strategies will be executed across the business.
Will also be required to draw regular reports and deliver presentations to senior strategy management leadership, executives, and regular stakeholders.
