A unique opportunity exists at Youtopia® for a self-starter with a growth mindset to join our start-up where innovation is valued. We need a Senior Full Stack Engineer to understand business needs, scope requirements, and build scalable, high-impact features for customers and internal teams.

As our Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Develop apps that are making material impact on our world for millions of users
• Design and implement secure, distributed architecture of reactive web apps with back ends for mobile
• Explore business domains with technical and non-technical members toward clarity for building the right things right
• Work with peers, product designers, and product managers to ensure end-to-end testing and high-quality deliverables
• Work with data professionals to ensure data concerns do not end at storage
• Participate in agile cycles (Scrum, Kanban) with certified peers and leadership
• Help establish and adopt best practices, including code reviews and documentation
• Mentor less senior team members

What you bring to the table:

• Mastery in delivering and maintaining scalable, adaptable, and distributed apps that provide great UX and meet business needs
• Natural problem solving with ability to manage complexity via simplification, abstraction, etc.
• Effective collaboration; great communication is key to any project
• Constant curiosity; constantly learning and evolving
• Comfort in wearing multiple hats, juggling multiple projects, and coordinating with existing dev team, DevOps, product managers, and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years developing software
• Experience with distributed architecture, including Domain Driven Design and microservices
• Experience designing and developing web, client-server, mobile, or n-tier applications using .NET / .NET Core / C#
• Experience with event driven design and data streaming via Kafka, or message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with Git or similar version control system
• Ability to improve and adapt to rapidly evolving programming environments
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TDD and BDD
• Experience data layering
• Experience using Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience leveraging CI/CD with automation platform
• Experience with advanced feature flag utilization
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking product
• Familiarity with API Gateways and serverless architecture considered a plus
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Vue, Angular, or Blazor considered a plus
• Experience working in startup environment
