Job description

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to manage the application end-to-end and to ensure the venture’s vision for product development is executed upon.  The full stack engineer will work closely with other functional leads, such as product and design, to build and evolve venture technology.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, mobile friendly web applications, and software products
  • Build product features into performant, clean code in a test-driven design methodology
  • Create REST based microservice APIs for consumption by mobile and web platforms
  • Strong experience building complex
  • Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers.
  • Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performance code base
  • Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team
  • Mentor and lead other engineering team members

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in software engineering, with 5+ in the context of a high growth tech company using agile methods
  • 3+ years experience working with vanilla JavaScript development
  • Experience working with Typescript for building JavaScript code
  • Build product features into performant, clean code in a test-driven design methodology
  • 3+ years experience with modern JS frameworks and rapid application development platforms (React/Redux/Redux Saga-Hooks ,Angular, NodeJS, etc.)
  • Managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience designing and developing service-based architectures, micro services and cloud native applications
  • Experience designing data persistence and caching concepts using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g.: SQL Server, Postgresql, Mysql, Redis, MongoDB etc…)
  • Experience with CI/CD Gitlab and automation DevOps and devSecOps practices
  • Object oriented design & development, building backend applications with REST API services using Java, Node.js, or .NET/C#
  • Exposure to distributed tracing and performance optimization techniques
  • Strong consensus building communication skills
  • Designing and developing service-based architectures (micro-services architecture a plus) & integration with existing systems/applications (legacy and API) & 3rd party systems.
  • Experience with native and/or hybrid mobile development (e.g.: iOS, Android, PhoneGap, ionic, etc…)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Prior working experience in start-up environment or corporate innovation team
  • Fintech experience
  • Entrepreneurial track record; we want builders!
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment with multiple release trains

The posted salary range describes the minimum to maximum range for this job description in the state of Colorado.  The salary range is posted in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act.  The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado. $91,200 - 153,210.
