Cognizant Accelerator is seeking a Senior Web Developer specializing in front end frameworks for the Cognizant Accelerator Studio team in our Boulder, Colorado office.

The Studio is part of the Cognizant Accelerator through a recent acquisition of Quick Left, a Boulder-based agile development shop. We have experience working with startups as well as larger companies. We are a practicing agile team run by developers. We specialize in the lean software methodology, focusing on defining an MVP. We value direct and honest communication internally and with our clients and value pragmatic solutions above all else. We will be working with companies accepted into the 6 month LaunchPad program, Cognizant's internal startup accelerator, to build their products using lean and agile methodologies. We will be working with our sister organization, the Studio India.

Job Requirements:

• you’re nice
• you have 5+ years of professional web development experience
• you have written a significant application using any of the following:
• ○ React
• ○ Ember
• ○ Backbone
• ○ Angular
• you have a good working knowledge of CSS/SCSS
• you have worked on teams using .NET or Java on the back end and can integrate seamlessly with any of those technologies
• you enjoy agile practices such as pair programming, TDD, story planning, etc.
• you enjoy mentoring others just as much as you enjoy solving hard problems
• you have familiarity with a modern backend framework – Django, Rails, Node.js
• you want to contribute to the knowledge growth of a world-class engineering team through collaboration   
• some travel is required
