As a part of the Recurly Front End team, you will be responsible for developing high performance, responsive user interfaces for visualizing massive datasets. The clean, intuitive, and beautiful user interface you will build plays a critical role in the user experience -- allowing users to navigate through data and manipulate massive data sets to gain new insights and also to share and tell stories with their data.  

You will develop core front-end components of a fast, scalable, complex web application (ES6, React) using libraries and frameworks (e.g. Recharts, D3, Redux), built on top of a Rails backend. The sleek, beautiful results of your work make you an integral part of our product/engineering group as you define, design, and develop new features with a top-caliber team.

• Drive to push JavaScript and the web browser beyond what others have already done.
• Utilize your expertise and passion for the development and how pixels look on the page.  
• Create extraordinary web experiences by writing well-factored, beautiful code.
• Work with our backend Rails layer to support frontend needs, like presenting data from APIs, creating new endpoints, and maintaining our assets compiler.
• Create software design patterns and practices that tame the complexities of building, maintaining and testing JavaScript-heavy single page web applications.
• Experience with JavaScript codebases to keep the code modular and loosely coupled.
• Collaborate with internal teams and focused on building a product that will delight customers.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of development using JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, Haml, React, CSS3, Rails
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and semantic HTML and have strong debugging abilities across all major browsers.
• Proven track record of 3+ years, building amazing web-based products speaks for itself.
• Bonus points for developing in Redux, Recharts, D3, Stylus, Webpack
