Our Senior Front End Developer will help take our web application and stack to the next level. We're looking for a dynamic engineer who is no stranger to building well-designed, performant and effective front end web applications that support complex business rules. You will start by learning from the experiences of our current team and our current offerings and become intimately familiar with our codebase. As you improve in your understanding of our business logic, you will contribute your front end experience by adding features to our existing web app, which supports thousands of customers.
What You'll Do
  • Contribute to new and existing projects by developing and maintaining a reliable set of edge applications
  • Partner with UX and Product Management to translate complex business flows into friendly UI experiences
  • Build shared microservices that can serve multiples applications and scale independently
  • Enable our team to tap into our valuable data sources and build incredible features for our customers
  • Provide constructive feedback on pull requests to increase code quality

Your First 90 Days
In your First 30 Days, you will immerse yourself in our team, tech stack and development culture. You will work with your Lead to better understand our web app offering. You will help implement our front end technical roadmap, which takes scalability, testing, and performance into account, and present a gap analysis on what can be done even better. You will take on development items, getting your hands in our current web stack (75-90% of your time).
In your First 60 Days, along with user stories and product features, you will help work on a backlog of technical infrastructure work identified in your First 30 Days. You will help drive an efficient and effective SDLC and work to learn and better support your Scrum Team (Product Management, QA, fellow Developers).
In your First 90 Days, y ou will help instill the discipline of effectively monitoring and creating work items from production issues. You will further our tech stack by continuing to help implement our technical roadmap and future deliveries. You will further p lay a meaningful role in helping hire future members of our growing Product Team.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years' experience developing single-page web applications
  • Depth of experience with React or other modern front end frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue)
  • Ability to flesh out user stories to be consumed by the rest of your team
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with remote team members
  • Excellent technical design, problem-solving and debugging skills

Your Differentiators
  • Prior experience with C# or Java
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $130,000 - $140,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
