Job Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Engineer – Software sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO.

Develop full stack solutions using primarily Python, ReactJS/Javascript, and Golang, among other languages on Unix and Linux; design and develop software using Microservice Manifesto; perform Webservices development with REST services; continually integrate and deploy code to test and production system using Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools; design and write software in a functional style combined with object-oriented techniques; write and execute unit tests and automated acceptance tests; identify and troubleshoot complex production issues in customer-facing environment.

Req’s: MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related, and 2 years of software development experience in the job offered or as Senior Software Engineer; or a combination of a BS in same fields plus 5 years’ progressive, post-baccalaureate software development experience; or any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Requires 2 years of software development experience using Java, JavaScript, REST Services, Splunk, CI/CD, Shell Scripting, XML/XSD/JSON, Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL, Git, and Jenkins.
