We are a high energy, high growth tech company that's seeking Full Stack Engineers who love building software, regardless of the languages or tech stack they’ve used in the past. Our microservices technology stack includes ReactJS on the front end, Java (primarily) on the application side, and a mix of relational and NoSQL solutions on the back end, including MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Bigtable.  We handle eye-popping amounts of data and requests using stream processing technologies such as Kafka.

We don’t expect anyone to have experience with all of these technologies.  We’re simply looking for engineers who are great at what they do, love it, and are eager to learn. If you have these qualities and are willing to hit the ground running then we’re the place for you!

About You

• 4+ years of full stack web application development experience using modern ES6-based JavaScript libraries such as ReactJS or Angular
• 3+ years experience with Java
• 2+ years of experience with distributed stream-processing such as Flink
• Demonstrated experience writing automated tests to maintain a high quality product and reliable CI/CD pipeline
• Experience in scalable environments (especially with Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with APIs
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as GCP or AWS
• Nice to have experience with and pub/sub messaging systems
• Interest in Scala a plus
• Familiarity with GraphQL or related technologies
• Familiarity with Big-O notation

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents BetterCloud’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary Range: $135,000 - 175,000
