We want someone as passionate as we are about building useful and usable software, but equally as passionate about shipping products that people actually use. We are looking to hire a Back End Engineer. 

We desire a person with the following:

• BS in Computer Science (or training equivalent)
• 3+ years programming in Java
• Accustomed to highly scalable, high volume, low latency, transactional systems
• Unit, integration, and functional testing experience
• Payments programming experience a huge plus
• Mobile development is a huge plus, especially with Flutter
• Solid understanding of common design patterns
• Experience in Linux (Ubuntu)
• Oncall and/or System Admin experience a positive (monitoring, alerting, operations, etc)
• Technical self-starter and self-directed
• Gets geeked seeing people use what you have developed

Our Tech Stack:

• Source control is Git
• Backend is Java
• Web Frontend is React 16.8+ (Typescript), Redux, Material UI, Webpack
• Mobile Frontend is Flutter (Android and iOS) and Java (Android)

The job will entail:

• Working in a very team-oriented development environment
• Being physically located in the general Boulder, CO (Denver) metro area
• Opportunities to deep dive into Java, mobile development, networking, and large cloud environments
• Strong unit and functional testing to ensure code quality and backwards compatibility
• General web development on our internal and external facing portals
• Contributing to the establish of ecommerce widgets for use internally and externally
