What You Will Do:

  • Organize and facilitate daily scrum, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related events
  • Build visibility around team velocity, throughput, and sprint/release progress
  • Work with Technical Leads and Product Managers to refine the product backlog, growing its effectiveness
  • Assist team in only committing to what they can control within story selection and task definition
  • Support teams in identifying and removing their impediments; prevent distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver the sprint goal; facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

What You Will Bring:

  • Scrum Master Certification with 2-5 years of Scrum Master experience
  • In-depth knowledge of agile practices and agile excellence topics such as Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration
  • Leadership qualities that enable negotiation and influence without authority
  • High level of flexibility within changing environments and priorities; excels in ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work with diverse and geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to coach teams to reach their highest potential
  • Joint approach to driving decisions and able to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience coaching teams towards a focus on sprint goals, collective competition, and establishing a team that accepts healthy conflict
