What You Will Do
- Develop and deploy features across the tech stack
- Write maintainable code while iterating and shipping rapidly
- Ensure appropriate automated test coverage for optimal product reliability and release velocity
- Refactor existing Ruby or JavaScript code to improve code maintainability and efficiency
- Develop and document REST APIs
- Contribute to improving development, Agile, and CI delivery best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering
- Present new ideas and respectfully debate those ideas with the team
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 2-4+ years of experience building web and SaaS based applications
- 1-2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and excitement about dabbling in other frameworks and technologies
- A keen eye for good RESTful API design and/or microservice architecture
- AWS experience a plus
- Experience with Git source control
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile processes in a structured setting (Scrum and/or Kanban)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React specifically a plus)
- BS in Computer Science or related experience
Physical Requirements
- This position works most of the time in a fixed office location and may involve sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods.
- Frequently required to communicate verbally and in writing (mostly email) with customers, prospects, and other employees.
- Use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment for the greater part of the workday.

Salary
$90,000 – $100,000 DOE
Location
This position is based in our downtown Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. While we are mainly working remotely now, this will continue to be an in-office/remote position but candidates must be willing and able to (eventually) work from our downtown Denver office as needed.
