Quality Assurance
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Analyst contributes to the overall quality of multiple software platforms has responsibilities related to the entire testing lifecycle, including hands-on testing, defect analysis, status reporting, and generating metrics. Experience with quality testing (across devices, browsers and various operating software) is required, and experience with Agile Implementations highly desirable.
Granicus releases new features and functionality frequently and the QA team is on the cutting edge of everything we do. In this role you and your team can become key product experts and drive how features are implemented.
Essential Functions:
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Coordinate and support testing and/or audits conducted by external providers and/or customers
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Monitor risk management activities
- Responsible for document management systems
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Ensure quality criteria is met for all types of test coverage before release
Security Requirement:
Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
- 2+ years of software testing experience in a professional software development environment
- 2+ years' experience in a web-based testing environment
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with testing and developing test scripts
- Experience to exploratory testing techniques and risk-based testing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
