About the Role 

Here in our Colorado Springs office we are looking for someone to be the voice of quality, helping to find problems before users do. Our Quality Advocates are responsible for working with their fellow team members to provide the quality assistance needed to build great features. They keep the big picture of the project in view, help measure risk, and help to identify key issues such as performance problems or bugs.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to the success of the project by:

  • Considering consistency throughout the application and test for quality through the lens of the end user
  • Identifying edge cases and work with the team to determine those that need to be addressed
  • Prioritizing tasks and projects in coordination with the team to ensure Product Manager needs are met in a timely fashion
  • Developing and implementing a test plan for each feature
  • Showing deep knowledge of each project to help thoroughly confirm projects meet quality standards and project requirements
  • Thoroughly confirming functionality and vouching for its quality as it prepares to be shipped to production
  • Advocating for higher quality in areas that have shown quality challenges or areas that would prove to be particularly disruptive to the customer
  • Demonstrating mastery of assigned software to be a resource to the team as well as other departments
  • Troubleshooting and helping resolve critical issues that need to be resolved quickly
  • Being a leading voice for quality and quality practices within Product and Engineering
  • Maturing the team’s QA practices through understanding, implementing and documenting best practices; keeping the organization apprised of and/or implementing emerging QA trends in the industry.

About You

You will be a member of a feature team of developers, a project manager, and a designer. You will be responsible for delivering world class solutions that drive user outcomes in your product area, and contributing to a cohesive experience across the product suite. You value working directly with product managers, designers and developers on a daily basis; influencing others to ensure the best outcomes for our users and our product. You deeply care about people, and have a passion to create a place where talented people want to work. 


A qualified candidate will typically have: 

  • 2-5 years of relevant QA experience in agile development environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex processes and thoughts.
  • Interpersonal communication and conflict coaching experience.

CO Pay Range: $60 - $70k
