What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated testing on Pinnacol’s customer platforms. You will work with your agile product team to coordinate bug tracking, testing prioritization, and testing automation tasks.

What you can expect:

  •  Identify, document, and address detailed requirements for ensuring the performance, quality, and functionality needs of our customers
  • Coordinate testing efforts with product and development team members to ensure we are implementing the right testing at the right level
  •  Develop, configure, and maintain testing environments and frameworks (pytest/selenium) to ensure product goals are met
  • Implement best practices by developing, refining, iterating, integrating, testing, staging and deploying maintainable technical solutions
  •  Use analytical skills and judgement to solve problems and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Communicate complicated problems to team members to ensure we are coming up with the right solutions
  • Accountable for effectively leading, communicating and managing change ensuring sustainability of process and performance enhancement
  • Remain current on the external environment for industry leading tools, technology, analytics and best practices to continuously improve Pinnacol’s customer value proposition

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Collaborate with various departments to achieve Pinnacol’s business goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership in the areas of continuous improvement and continuous learning.
  • Support Pinnacol’s Policy and Claim team members as needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Comfortable with Git
  • Experience writing automation scripts in Python and/or Javascript
  • Experience product testing in an agile environment is required
  • Automated testing experience with web tools/frameworks (pytest/capybara/selenium/cypress)
  • Familiarity and knowledge of web applications along with functional and object oriented programming
  • Familiar with docker/container technology and CI/CD tools
  • Must be flexible, innovative, and have the ability to perform in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment

If you decide to come into the office, we’re just seven miles from downtown Denver, in the heart of the Lowry neighborhood. Our office is minutes away from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, fitness facilities and lush parks and open spaces.
