Position Description
The Quality Assurance & Production Support position is required to have great skills and experience developing, implementing, and maintaining manual and/or automated quality assurance testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of Salesforce software applications within an Agile environment.
The QA member will work closely with business owners, project managers, and application development teams. Quality Assurance Analysts possess a deep sense of ownership, a curious mind and a strong desire for team success. They must have an eye for detail that coincides with a greater understanding around team and product goals.
In this role, the QA member will gain a deep understanding of application process and flows and be able to triage production issues, they will operate as main point of contact between technical and business teams identifying data / code issues and communicating findings and proposed solutions.
Responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans, test cases, and coordinate (UAT) sessions and testing activities.
Identify, document, escalate, and track quality issues and defects to resolution
Document and maintain test artifacts such as: test data, data validation, and scripts
Create, execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
Review test results with managers, colleagues, and stakeholders
Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Recommend, design, develop, and execute automation testing tools
Perform smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing in various systems/interfaces
Provide end users with personable and timely support of applications
Researching, resolving and/or escalating application related issues or questions with tracking tickets
Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University
High level of salesforce.com knowledge, including but not limited to object design and reporting structures.
Experience working in GitLab
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Ability to communicate with stakeholders of all backgrounds (IT, Business, etc.)
Ability to provide logical guidance in a fast paced and quickly changing environment
