Spire Digital, a subsidiary of Kin + Carta and award-winning 22-year-old custom software development firm in Denver, is seeking a Manual QA Tester to join on a full time basis. QA Tester's Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in the design and architecture of applications.
• Test applications to assure accuracy, integrity, and interoperability to achieve specified functionality.
• Prepare documentation for outlining logic, code, and implementation of applications.
• Adhere to Spire Digital development policies, procedures, and standards in the development and implementation of applications.
• Create release processes and release documentation for internal and client use.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test artifacts including test scripts. 

Department Role:

• Participate as a key member of the Product Delivery Team.
• Participate in web development projects and knowledge share sessions.

Team Interaction:

• Creative/UX - Work with designers to confirm that delivery conforms to desired user experience.
• Information Architecture - Participate in projects involving application development.
• Operations/Development - Participate in operational projects requiring application development.
• Sales - Participate in scoping process for sales proposals.
• Quality Assurance: Coordinate efforts with the QA Manager and QA Testers.
• Client: Represent the team during client interactions.

Technical Skills:

• Experienced with manual/functional testing, as well as other types of testing.
• Familiar with Agile Methodology: Other development methodologies a plus.
• UNIX syntax 
• Experience with database testing SQL, PG
• Working knowledge of build scripts, git/feature branching, continuous deployment/integration is a plus.
• Test automation experience is a plus.

Offer Package:

• This is a W2 hourly position. The hourly rate rage for this role is $25 - $40/hr.  Benefits for W2 Hourly employees include accrued PTO, medical, vision, dental, 401K and Roth IRA plans, weekly yoga, and more.
