As our Quality Assurance Engineer, based in Broomfield CO., you will:

  • Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including review of user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Create test plans that meet design specifications, report on testing cycle and help produce software/web products that are reasonably free from defects
  •  Manage multiple feature/product releases mapping test strategy to the release plan, ensuring the product release quality is maintained or acceding that of the previous release.
  • Develop test cases/harnesses and test products to meet assigned requirements.
  • Construct/maintain automated testing framework and other testing tools to perform performance/stress and load testing suites.
  • Perform the required tests to valid the product continue to function per spec throughout the release cycle
  • Render detailed defect descriptions and support materials into the defect tracking system
  • Maintain a good relationship and interface with PM, Development and Support team.
  • Work with Dev and PM in an agile environment to help with defining and updating requirements.

  • Automate regression tests for Web GUI and REST API, and develop test tools and application that will help with the delivering of the product.

You bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, equivalent industry experience acceptable
  • 3-5 years of experience in testing of web, e-commerce and/or enterprise software applications required
  • 3-5 years proven work experience with software quality methodologies, principles and processes
  • 3-5 years of experience with web application technologies and protocols.  HTTP, JavaScript, XML, XSL, Web Services, HTTP, TCP/IP and RSS.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in Linux, BSD or UNIX environment
  • Work experience writing Test Scripts (i.e. Perl, Python, TCL) a plus
  • Experience working with MS SQL Server preferred
  • Experience executing/maintaining automated test tools/scripts
  • Experience testing for reliability, performance and scalability a plus
  • Knowledge of Web Security a plus
  • Experience with PHP preferred
  • Shell Scripting Experience a plus
  • Previous programming Java/C++ or white box testing experience a plus
  • Experience working in test-driven development model a plus
  • Test Automation or Code Coverage Analysis skills a plus
  • Security industry experience a plus
     
  • Good understanding of relational databases, and ability to write complex SQL statements
  • Very adaptive to fast changing environment, willing and able to acquire new skillsets as required
  • Able to communicate effectively among team with a wide range of technical backgrounds and experiences
