It is an exciting time to join our teams at Enquire and we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team to help build quality features that delight our users. This is a fantastic role for someone who has a solid foundation of manual QA experience on an Agile engineering team and would like to grow their technical testing skills and test automation skills. You will be joining a team that takes pride in making a quality impact and working on an application that serves Senior Living communities and Post Acute Care facilities across the country.

What you will do:

• Work with a team of Software Quality professionals to test and insure high quality software features and releases.
• Work with stakeholders to improve software quality standards and processes.
• Test UI and API based features.
• Construct manual test plans for test coverage of assigned features and projects.
• Add test cases to the test case repository, adhering to test case standards and best practices.
• Document, track and escalate bugs and adheres to documented bug standards.
• Effectively communicate testing status, bugs and blockers found during testing.
• Assist in maintenance of our test case repository, including organization and identifying and improving gaps in test coverage.
• Participate in daily Bug Triage.
• Estimate Quality requirements and timelines for features assigned.
• Formalize opinions and makes suggestions for Software Testing Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Be a user advocate.

What we are looking for:

• A BS/BA degree with a focus on Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
• 3+ years of QA experience on an Agile team
• Solid understanding of both SDLC and Agile
• Familiarity with QA industry best practices and methodologies
• Proven experience testing in both black box and white box fashion
• Experience and comfort with testing REST APIs, using applications like Insomnia or POSTMan
• Ability to work independently or with teammates in pairing or screen sharing sessions
• Strong understanding of SaaS web applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort and experience accessing a SQL database and performing select statements
• Ability to construct test cases and test plans according to requirements
• Ability to context switch
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, TestRail or similar tools
• Experience testing .NET and/or Azure hosted applications a plus
• Experience testing iOS and/or Android applications a plus
• Experience testing Analytics a plus

About joining our team:

This is a Full-time position. here at Enquire. We offer competitive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term & Long-term Disability, Life Insurance, 401k, Legal Assistance, FSA, Unlimited Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays. The salary range for this position is $55,000-$90,000 base.
