Job Description
Worldpay is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer that is responsible for all aspects of test creation and execution for Worldpay's complex suite of highly secure and tightly integrated electronic payment SaaS solutions. Responsibilities
The QA Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the development, client services and product management teams over the course of the product lifecycle and will perform the following activities:
Interpret, understand and validate system requirements for new and existing solutions
Work closely with the development and product management organizations to derive and interpret complex use cases in order to create the appropriate test plans and test cases
Develop test plans, automated test scripts and test cases that adhere to the technical and business requirements
Execute complex white box and black box functional, system and regression tests and document the overall results
Categorize, track and triage new and existing defects for recommendation for future releases
Provide appropriate test metrics around the results of executed tests
Actively investigate and recommend new tools, processes and test approaches for improving the quality of the solutions
Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics

Qualifications
3+ years experience in a software quality assurance or test engineering capacity
2+ years experience testing SaaS solutions
Ability to interpret business requirements and functional requirements with minimal documentation
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodology and industry best practices
Detail-oriented and able to manage a great deal of complexity and multiple priorities at one time
Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving technical and commercial environment
Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Technology Expertise
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following technologies

  • Experience working with Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Linux and Apache
  • Application Servers: MS IIS version 10.0, MS IIS version 8.5
  • Database Servers: MS SQL Server 2016, MS SQL Server 2014
  • Platforms: Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Testing tools: SoapUI, Selenium, VMWare, Rally
  • Experience testing applications based on .NET, Web Services
  • Knowledge of payment card processing
