Who are you?

As a member of the QA team, it will be your responsibility to help VictorOps to ensure quality products are delivered to our customers. You will also be working with the development teams by signing off on acceptance criteria for new features as well as creating, maintaining and improving automated test coverage for the native mobile application as well as the web client using Appium and Selenium WebDriver written in Python.

Requirements

  • Write, develop and maintain automated tests Selenium, Appium, JMeter and more for our native mobile app as well as our web application
  • Collaborate with our QA analysts who maintain our manual test plans to ensure strategic test coverage throughout our application
  • Collaborate with mobile engineers around optimal test coverage around new features
  • Assist in efforts towards CI/CD goals including implementation of strategic execution of tests and creation of test reports
  • Execute manual and automated tests on mobile and web platforms
  • Document defects and improve tests to reflect fixes for defects
  • Help to maintain good organization of JIRA

Skills needed

  • Experience programming in Python
  • Some work with Appium, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter or similar
  • Experience with Robot Framework
  • Experience with development of test automation for native mobile applications
  • Experience with maintaining automated tests for web applications
  • Open to manually test when necessary, though primary focus will be in test automation
  • Intention to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance
