The position provides the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge Healthcare research on a cross-functional team and contribute to developing products that have an impact on the healthcare industry with patient care.
- Lead the automation testing design, code, and execute automated testing (with some manual and integration testing experience)
- Check for data consistency across platform and platform data sources
- Write automated crossbrowser tests for our front-end and API end-points
- Evaluate project plans to ensure QA coverage and identify gaps in testability or any QA blockers
- Own and keep the QA backlog current with details and prioritize by severity and possible impacts to the customers
- Identify and propose improvements to your (and your team’s) workflow or tooling to ensure the products deployed are with the highest integrity
We are currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer with:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Statistics or a related technical field. Master’s degree a plus
- Experience with NodeJS test frameworks such as Mocha, CypressIO,or WebdriverIO for testing web applications and API’s
- 3+ years of automation testing experience
- Experience using and testing big data tools like PostgreSQL and Spark
- Familiarity managing CI pipelines with Microsoft Azure devops tools
- Experience creating test strategies, test plans, reusable test scenarios and championing automation efforts
- Skills identifying and executing test automation needs (environments and data) to help ensure the success of the automation team
- Experience in the healthcare industry and understanding of claims data sets are preferred
- Comfort working closely with multiple development teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
