Who You Are:

You are first and foremost a software developer and bring to the table strong skills and experience design and developing distributed test automated systems. What makes you different from other developers is a particular affinity for being confident that a system will work well ‘out in the wild’. You get a kick out of finding and fixing those critical bugs, in an efficient and automated way, before they see the light of day.

That's where you come in!

We are looking for a skilled developer who will have a strong background working in Python and thrive in a Linux environment. Strong networking knowledge is a big plus! You will be responsible for creating and designing our first in-house automation framework. Being proficient in Object-Oriented Design principles is essential, as well as someone who has experience with complex and distributed systems. We have a tight-knit engineering team that support each other and values humility.

To be successful in this role you will need: 

• Very strong skills in Python and complex automation.
• Ability to create and enhance test harness and infrastructure.
• Ability to understand any automation framework and develop strong coding design principles.
• Experienced in formulating test strategies.

The more of the following you can offer, the better suited you will be for the position:

• Experience processing network traffic using multiple layer 2 (Ethernet), layer 3 (IP), layer 4 (TCP) and layer 7 (application) networking protocols.
• Hands-on knowledge on Traffic Generators such as IXIA, Spirent test equipment, and Robot test framework.
