PSO Project Engineer
Zoom is seeking a Technical Project Engineer for the Professional Services Organization. The Technical Project Engineer will be designing and deploying Zoom Phone solutions.
Responsibilities:
Participate in Zoom deployment projects by gathering requirements and designing and deploying solutions
Determine impact of known and anticipated business needs by reviewing system configurations in use. Research, evaluate, design, and propose solutions to meet business needs in accordance with best practices
Work closely with the customer, account team, other team members
Migrate customers from other voice and video solutions to the Zoom solutions
Exchange information, verbally and in writing, clearly, accurately, reliably, and timely
Support and Troubleshoot deployments
Document best practices and create deployment and support playbook
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in CS, MIS or its equivalent and at least 10+ years of experience designing and implementing UC/Voice/Video solutions. UCaaS/Cloud experience strongly preferred
Strong experience with UC Voice/Video best practices, process, and procedures for design, deployment and support
Experience with commercial A/V integration, and associated construction and low voltage cabling. Migrations
Experience with migrations to Cloud Voice/UCaaS strongly preferred
Experience configuring SBCs, trunks, gateways
Knowledgeable of VoIP and SIP protocols
Strong background and knowledge of other Cloud and Premise UC/Voice Solutions (Cisco, Ring Central, Microsoft, 8x8, Avaya, Mitel, Vontage, etc..)
Strong Networking Experience and good understanding of network requirements for Voice and Video deployments
Ability to Travel
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience integrating other UC and Collaboration products and solutions (Contact Center, CRM, etc.)
Voice, Video, A/V or Collaboration Certifications
